Meet Renee - Called to Create
Renee Anthony, owner of Polish + Pop Design, is a second-generation interior designer. Design is literally in her DNA.
With over 20 years of experience in interior design and project management, She approaches every space with a refined, detail-oriented perspective. From coastal retreats and modern waterfront homes to boutique hotels and elevated commercial spaces, She's passionate about creating environments that feel distinct and unforgettable. Her goal isn’t for people to immediately recognize her work—it’s for them to pause and ask, “Who designed this?"

Her work spans the U.S., including distinctive residences throughout the Lowcountry, expansive homes on Kiawah Island, a 10,000-square-foot estate in Connecticut, a wine tasting room in the mountains of North Carolina, and boutique hospitality projects in Charleston. From high-end residential to luxury commercial and hospitality interiors, she design with intention—balancing form, function, and a layered sense of style.

At the heart of her process is a passion for spaces that feel as beautiful as they are livable. She collaborate closely with clients to craft a bespoke one-of-a-kind design for their interiors that reflect their lifestyle and aesthetic—infusing color, texture, and elevated design into every detail , she translates each vision into thoughtfully developed plans, drawings, and documentation that guide contractors and tradespeople through seamless execution in the field.

"The key to great design is capturing the spirit of a client and the essence of a space."
Every design project is tailored made for each client. Her process begins with a shared understanding of the client's vision and goals. At the start of the project, her philosophy applies a personal approach that combines three sources of inspiration: the client’s personality, the place of the residence and, lastly, its surroundings. By combining these three variables, each project yields a unique, personalized and coherent result. To achieve this, they work together from day one to ensure that their design relationship reflects the client's purpose, standards, timing, and budget. Its imperative to provide specfications, documentation and drawings so the client's vision is brought to fruition without liberties and substitutions.
